There’s a story told of a beautiful little girl, who was 2 yrs old. One day while wearing a very serious look on her face, she glanced at her Nana and spoke these words….”I angee!” The sweet voice yet important message from the young child was translated as meaning “I’m angry.”
The just as beautiful Nana, who without hesitation, gave the young girl a huge smile and with an exuberant voice replied….”Ava, don’t be angry, be happy!” With the speed of lightning, Ava’s frown immediately turned into an ear from ear smile given back to her Nana and she declared with joy…OK!!

Actually not.
Oh, the on going lessons we can learn from spending time with children. Their little hearts share truth with such simplicity. No holding grudges nor unforgiveness. No over analyzing or anxiety expected. No broken hearts and lost relationships experienced.
They have the authentic ability to turn sadness into happiness like turning on and off a light switch. I wonder if we adults were meant to live such a life as well?
Wait a minute. Listen…..can you hear it?
Right now I hear a voice. I hear an important message that comes from the One who made heaven and earth. The One who breathed life into every man and woman….boy and girl.
My child, I wish for you to experience child-like faith that carries child-like responses. I am the Joy Giver. I desire for your lives to be full of joy and happiness. I have come so that you will not hold onto worry, sadness, or anger. Do not make the process difficult. When these things try to raise their ugly heads in the midst of your challenging days, simply pause and look into My smiling face and hear My exuberant voice telling you to be happy! My child, I have this. You are more important to Me than anything you have or ever will face. There’s nothing that I will not handle for you. So rejoice! May My joy begin to flood your soul! I say it again…My child, be happy!
Continue to hear Gods voice as He reminds us of the message found in His Word. Be encouraged my friend.

“So I saw that there is nothing better for people than to be happy in their work. That is why we are here! No one will bring us back from death to enjoy life after we die.” Ecclesiastes 3:22
