His Presence

I love to sing.

It’s something I’ve been doing practically all of my life. When you combine music, lyrics, vocals, and heart it stirs up my soul and spirit.  I understand the reason God speaks so highly of it. To sing is one of the most mentioned commands in the Bible.

It’s not required to be gifted with the ability to carry a tune, rather it is a desire of the Lord for everyone to do. You see, He sees the benefit it offers all of us and He gives us instructions continuously to participate. Singing becomes a vessel for us to experience His victory, peace, and joy. We find His power and authority riding on the chords of our voices. Oh, there’s little to compare it to.

God loves to use singing as a connection for us to find a deeper relationship with Him.  It connects the spirit man with His Spirit.  It can take us on a journey that enters the heavens and we literally feel as if our feet have left the ground.

We find His power and authority riding on the chords of our voices.

Singing ministers to the body, soul, and spirit.  Our singing becomes our worship to our Creator.  Our worship becomes the meaning behind God’s reason to want us to sing.

Our worship was meant to be directed solely to our God.  Nothing else really matters. No one or no thing deserves our attention and worship like our Creator, Jehovah.

Singing takes me places. Combine singing with worship and I know the place it takes me specifically to…. His Presence.

There is no better place to be than to be in His Presence.

For when you have entered into such a realm, you can’t wait to go there again..and again..and again.

I love, I love, I love Your Presence.

When my mind begins to dwell on whose I am and what my God has done for me, I can’t remain silent. My body responds to what my mind confirms in His Word.

“Lord! I’m bursting with joy over what you’ve done for me! My lips are full of perpetual praise.” Psalm 34:1

“Go ahead—sing your new song to the Lord! Let everyone in every language sing Him a new song. Don’t stop! Keep on singing! Make His name famous! Tell everyone every day how wonderful He is. Give them the good news of our great Savior. Take the message of His glory and miracles to every nation. Tell them about all the amazing things He has done.”
Psalm 96:1-3

Don’t stop! Keep on singing!

Share the good news of what He has done for you!

Testify through song and invite the Holy Spirit to expand the miracles and amazing stories to our sons and daughters….to our grand-babies….from generation to generation.

Sing!

Sing over your family of His goodness.  Let the glory of who He is not only be told, but let it be sung!

The Lord your God is with you; His power gives you victory. The Lord will take delight in you, and in His love He will give you a new life. He will sing and be joyful over you.” Zephaniah 3:17

Sing over…..as He sings over.

His song with ours will blend and harmonize to make a glorious melody in the atmosphere and the heavens.

He will sing and be joyful over you.

Breathe it in……..stay there a minute……….over you.

Sing to Him, as He joyfully sings back to you.

He is with you….giving you victory…taking delight in you…giving you a new life…as He sings joyfully over you.

Makes me want to shout!!  HALLELUJAH, THANK YOU JESUS!

He deserves ALL of my singing….ALL of my worship….ALL of my praise! I can’t help but sing of His Presence.

And I find myself full.

Hi, Welcome to my blog . I love my God, my family, music, hikes, Mexican food and coffee. I am passionate about worship and serving Christ. One of my favorite passages is 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. “ Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for those who belong to Jesus Christ.” Life has taught me to know a lot but I am not a know it all. Realizing there is always more to learn and experience I continue my spiritual journey. I hope that Lingering In The Oasis will help make your day better, as you continue to travel your journey as well.

I really enjoyed this post. We can feel his spirit as we worship through singing and hearing others sing.
